The Main Street Farmers’ Market offers an enticing array of seasonal fresh produce, baked goods, live and cut flowers and plants, honey, and craft items including homemade soap and pottery.
Big news for the Main Street Delaware Farmers’ Market this year… we’re moving into the street!
Beginning May 23, Sandusky Street will close from William Street to Winter Street on Saturday mornings so vendors can set up directly in the roadway. We’ve coordinated this new layout with the City of Delaware & DPD in order to create a safer, more spacious experience for everyone who comes downtown to shop, stroll, and enjoy the market and our downtown businesses!
Keeping the Farmers’ Market in the heart of downtown is incredibly important to us. As an organization dedicated to strengthening the historic downtown district, this move allows us to continue growing the market while creating the vibrant, walkable community experience that makes downtown Delaware so special.
So… we will see you downtown starting on May 23 for the first market, from 9 a.m. to noon, continuing every Saturday through October 31! Come stroll, shop, and enjoy fresh produce, local handmade goods, honey, plants, flowers, meat, eggs, and so much more as well as the energy of downtown each week!
