Summer events are kicking off in Downtown Delaware! Meet up with family, friends, and neighbors all summer long to create fun memories that will last a lifetime.
Main Street Delaware’s June 6 First Friday celebration will feature the Mr. Game Room video gaming trailer, a free yoga class with GoYoga Delaware, and more games and contests for visitors to enjoy.
Thanks to the businesses and vendors in downtown Delaware, First Friday’s activities will include Giant Jenga, Connect 4, board games, Wheel of Fortune, and much more. These activities are free to participants and fun for all ages! See Main Street Delaware’s social media leading up to the event for a full list of participating businesses and booths.
As always, many stores and restaurants will stay open late for the First Friday celebration, which will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
June’s First Friday is sponsored by Stephen R. Harless, mortgage lender with First Federal Community Bank; The Modern Maid; RISE Fitness; and Heritage Clinic of Chiropractic.
Also, don’t miss the 2025 Farmers’ Market, starting Saturday, May 24, and going every Saturday through Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon on the sidewalks downtown. Come shop for fresh local fruits and vegetables, honey, meat, eggs, plants, handcrafted items, baked goods, and more. This year’s market is generously sponsored by Greif, Ohio Health, First Citizens National Bank, and Willow Brook.
