The United Way of Delaware County, Ohio is in the business of creating meaningful and tangible impact in our community.
They are focused on education through programs and services that help children and youth achieve their potential. They help to support youth mentoring programs and scouting programs that develop tolerance, diversity and conflict resolution. They provide advocacy for abused and neglected children, and support for school children who are at risk due to substance abuse within their families.
United Way also is focused on improving the health of Delaware county residents at all stages of life from hearing screenings for newborns, to substance abuse intervention programs for youth, health and safety education for adults, and a variety of services to help senior citizens maintain health and independence in their own homes.
