Formed in 2007, the Friends of the Delaware County District Library is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that supports the mission, services and needs of the Delaware County District Library (DCDL).
The purpose of the Friends is to bring Library advocates together as the booster team for the Delaware County District Library by building community awareness while championing the Library’s mission, vision, and values. The Friends also support Library services, programs, and staff by fundraising and encouraging gifts, endowments, and bequests on behalf of the Library. They encourage civic involvement while promoting lifelong learning through our many volunteer efforts.
