We are home to over 130 businesses who employ many local people and showcase the diverse business community in Delaware.
93% of businesses are locally owned or headquartered and 85% are hyper-small, employing just 20 people or less.
But 100% of them need your help and support to get through this challenging time.

Shop Online Support your favorite small, local retailers by shopping from their online stores and picking up* or having your purchase delivered; many businesses are currently offering complimentary or discounted delivery. Consider upcoming celebrations or events for which you plan to give a gift, such as weddings, showers, and graduations, and begin buying them now.

Buy Gift Cards Buying gift cards from your favorite businesses, including retailers, restaurants, and salons, is a great way to provide immediate support to businesses that you can use later. Visit their social media pages and/or websites to find out how to purchase gift cards directly.
Donate to Their Causes Support the Historic Downtown District by making a donation to Main Street Delaware, we are a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization. Your tax deductible donation will benefit Downtown Delaware programs and initiatives, including First Fridays, Farmers’ Markets and the Summer on Winter Concert Series.
