Downtown Delaware—the SPACE to be! First Friday, April 5 6 to 9 p.m.

Join us for the first road closure event of the year, it is sure to be out of this world!

○ SciFi Scavenger Hunt

• Stop by Delaware Welcome Center (20 E William St.) to get started, then make your way through downtown visiting participating downtown businesses to find the icons and match them to their business! Complete and turn back in at the Welcome Center for a chance to win a prize from COSI!

○ Pop Culture Cosplay Contest

• Dress to impress! We want to see your cosplays spanning the worlds of comics, movies, TV, books, and more! Here’s the rules: First, you’ll have to visit one of our partnering businesses, either Gameplay Unlimited (77 N Sandusky St.) or Rebel Toys (20 S Sandusky St.) and snap a photo either in the store or including your purchase. Then post your photo on social media using the #delawarecosplay24. Each store will get to pick a winner and you’ll receive a gift from that store!

○ Free COSI Learning Lunchboxes

• Visit the Delaware Welcome Center during First Friday to pick up yours *while supplies last!

○ Eclipse Glasses

• Visit the COSI tent where they will also be doing science demonstrations and experiments, *while supplies last!

We will be celebrating the total solar eclipse during April’s First Friday—make a weekend of it! Come for First Friday and stay for the eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024
