Delaware City School District is located in Delaware, Ohio — a suburban community located about 20 minutes north of Columbus. The school district was established in 1830 and continues to grow in student enrollment. With a wide variety of curricular and extra-curricular opportunities, Delaware City Schools are consistently a top performing district in many measures.
The Willis Education Center (WEC) is home to the administrative offices for Delaware City School District and select student programming. The Willis Innovative Learning Lab (W.I.L.L.) is also located on the Winter Street side of the building. The building also serves as a community resource with meeting facilities, auditorium, and gymnasium. Delaware City Schools is also a proud partner with Strengthening Families to bring a variety of student and family services to our community. Strengthening Families is housed on the second floor of the Willis Education Center and houses Pacer Pantry, a Teen Room, and STEAM Room.
