Registration is required for any event happening in the downtown area on First Friday. You must register each month. Following your registration you will receive your booth assignment up to 2 days prior to the event. If your registration is not within our requirements someone will contact you. Registrations will be taken until all spaces are full or until the Friday before the First Friday event. For further questions please email us.
First Friday Vendor Registration Details
First Friday is a community block party hosted by Main Street Delaware, Inc. featuring a themed event the first Friday of each month. Events include themed activities, free children's games, vendors and general promotions of our downtown. First Fridays are held every month, all year long!
Vendor opportunities exist for home based businesses, crafters, artists, organizations, clubs, entertainers, etc. Vendor fees are $35 per month. All vendors wishing to set up in the downtown during First Friday MUST register here. Vendor spaces are 8ft on sidewalk November through April and 10x10 tent spaces in the parking places May through October.
Currently we do not allow food trucks, trailers, generators, etc. Electricity is NOT provided and can not be accessed.
Upon filling out your registration for First Friday you will be sent to a payment page. Payment may be made with a paypal account or by using credit card through our paypal page. Payment will prompt a booth assignment email up to 2 days prior to the event.
Registrations must be received and paid one week in advance. Registrations will be open until we are full or one week prior to an event. We are no longer accepting payment the night of the event.
Vendor fees are NOT REFUNDABLE.
First Friday is a rain or shine event. In the case of inclement weather please come to this page for instructions. If we are under a severe weather warning we will wait out the warning and allow set up following any bad weather. - Set up begins at 5pm and ends at 5:45
- Spaces must be left as they were found, clean and free of a trash
- No electricity will be provided. Cords may NOT be run from businesses across sidewalks.
- Vendors are NOT permitted to park on street, rear parking lots are available
- Please read all instructions in your vendor email
Failure to adhere to all rules may be reason for exclusion from future events.
